Evacuation Plan Basics
Map out evacuation routes and a meeting place for your family and studio assistants
Have an emergency supply kit accessible and fully stocked
Know what important items to take with you (e.g. checks, cash, credit cards, cell phone, driver’s license, identification, maps, eyeglasses, prescription drugs)
Keep vital records in a water-proof, accessible container that you can easily take with you
Make a list of vital, portable items that can be safely and easily moved out in a hurry
Have a NOAA weather radio in the studio and home to alert you of potential disasters
Consider adding an emergency alert app to your smart phone
Complete and have available the “Getting Help” Booklet and Evacuation Planning Form
