Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, and Mississippi were struck by dozens of tornadoes — including one massive storm that tore through more than 200 miles — Friday evening and Saturday morning. The unusual outbreak was created, in part, by unseasonably warm temperatures. With recovery efforts underway, the exact death toll will become clearer, but the full extent of the damage will take time to assess.
