Emergency Relief Program Re-Opens | Programa de CERF+ de Ayuda para Emergencias
The Craft Emergency Relief Fund Program is open and we are now accepting new inquiries to help artists facing career-threatening emergencies. Generous supporters answered the call to replenish our fund after an unprecedented year of natural disasters. I want to personally thank every one of you for helping us raise over $350,000.
CERF+ Responds to Recent Disasters
We face an unprecedented challenge as we respond to the recent devastating disasters from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria and the wildfires in Northern California. To date, we’ve heard from over 100 artists in Texas, Florida, the U.S. Virgin Islands, California, Puerto Rico, Georgia, South Carolina, and Louisiana.
CERF+ has set a fundraising goal of $1 million for our Disaster Relief Fund. Thanks to some very generous gifts early on from Windgate Charitable Foundation, Etsy, the sponsors of our recent Molten Glass Magic Show in St Louis and many others, we are close to $300,000 toward that goal.
CERF+ Response to Northern California Wildfires
We hope everyone in the areas threatened by the current wildfires in Northern California is able to stay safe and that the fires are soon contained.
Etsy Partners with CERF+ to Help Artists
Thousands of creative entrepreneurs have had their lives and livelihoods severely disrupted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. They’ll need the support of neighbors, relief organizations, and the creative community to get back on their feet.
